Golfer’s Elbow/ Medial Epicondylitis

Relieving the Pain of Overworked Tendons

The cause of golfer’s elbow, or medial epicondylitis, is overuse. Damage to the tendons that bend the wrist toward the palm brings pain. Symptoms include pain, tenderness, stiffness, and weakness. Rest and physical therapy are effective treatments; a physical therapist treats medial epicondylitis to heal and strengthen the muscles and tendons golfer’s elbow affects.
