ACL/PCL Tears

ACL or PCL, This Spells Trouble if Torn

Stretched to the max, the ACL and PCL ligaments are barely an inch-and-a-half long, but their role in the body’s architecture is huge. They and other knee ligaments hold together not only the joint but the whole leg while serving as the body’s shock absorbers and stabilizers. The ACL and PCL are for back-and-forth movement. Damage one and you’ll need anything from rest to surgery.
