Does Advanced Care Physical Therapy Provide Vestibular Rehabilitation?

Balance system disorders are common. Each year, more than 2.8 million people will have to make an emergency room visit due to a fall. There are so many factors that affect your balance that it’s important to seek the guidance of a qualified expert if you’re having difficulties. Advanced Care provides first-rate vestibular rehabilitation.

Do I need vestibular therapy?

If you are experiencing dizziness and vertigo, vision that bounces and sways, or problems with your balance, it’s possible that you’ll need vestibular therapy. The symptoms of vestibular disorder can be mild or severe, but need to be addressed in any case. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is highly effective in treating balance issues. If your physician is recommending vestibular therapy, it’s a good idea to talk to one of our specialists to evaluate if a program is right for you.

What can I expect from vestibular therapy exercises?

The exercise-based program for Vestibular therapy is designed to help you manage dizziness and balance issues. Our Advanced Care team of specialists have years of experience treating symptoms of vestibular disorders and we’ll work closely with you, providing one-on-one attention to ensure you’re being taken care of.

Because balance and dizziness make it difficult to exercise, the specific exercises you’ll perform are light and manageable, but impactful. Following our expert treatment plan can improve your physical, emotional, and functional health.

Vestibular therapy at Advanced Care will help increase your strength and help you support yourself, so you can live your daily life with confidence. We’ll take great care to work with you to make sure you’re comfortable, safe, and successful. It is our mission to give you the highest level of care possible.
