Kristy Birtch, MSPT, DPT, CERT. SMT

Physical Therapist

“As a physical therapist, I am able to follow my patients from beginning to end. This allows me to be more involved and creative with their rehabilitation program. Each person is unique and we need to mold our treatment concepts to fit the individual.”

Kristy attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, where she received her undergraduate degree in health sciences and then went on to receive her masters and doctorate in physical therapy. 

According to Kristy, “I first became interested in physical therapy when I injured my knee on a camping trip. After that I asked lots of questions and enjoyed learning about the body. I also love working with people and making them feel better. My goal is helping them get back to independent daily living.”

Kristy strives to further her knowledge to benefit her patients. “I learn something new every day. I’m a big believer in continuing education. I want to learn as many hands-on techniques so I can offer my patients more effective treatment options for their needs. Instead of following just one school of thought, I want to know many, to have a range of disciplines to choose from,” she says.
